Dr. Mike Daley

Mike has a PhD in music and has taught undergraduate courses at universities across the province and lectured at many later life learning programs. He has toured the U.S. and Canada as a musician with Jeff Healey, the Travellers and others; he also has appeared on many recordings as a guitarist and singer. At the luncheon, Mike will share some background on well-known holiday songs - the composers, as well as some history regarding how they were written. He will entertain us with his music as well, which will make for a very interesting afternoon.
